He worked for several associations, e.g. as head of an institute for lifelong learning. Since 1996 he is Chief Executive Officer of Gesellschaft für Technische  Kommunikation – tekom e.V.. Since 2001 he is also Chief Executive Officer of tcworld GmbH, a company providing services for tekom.

Sarah O´Keefe, Founder and President, Scriptorium Publishing, USA

Sarah O'Keefe is a content strategy consultant whose focus is using technical content to solve business problems, especially how new technologies can streamline publishing workflows to achieve strategic goals. Her latest book is Content Strategy 101: Transform Technical Content into a Business Asset.

Gururaj B.S., Director Documentation, Oracle, India

Gururaj B.S. has over 15 years of experience in technical communication. He is working at Oracle, Bangalore as Director, Documentation. At Oracle, he is leading the cloud-operations documentation efforts. His team of technical communicators is responsible for documenting Oracle’s flagship products “Oracle Cloud” and “Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud”. He is a certified Exalogic Elastic Cloud implementation specialist.

Susan Constable, Senior Director Documentation, Oracle

Susan Constable has been a Director in the Technical Communications field since 1997. Before joining Oracle as Senior Director in 2008, she worked at Silicon Valley companies BEA Systems, BMC Software, Peregrine Systems, Remedy Corporation, and Triad Systems Corporation. In addition to managing Technical Publications teams, Susan has also led User Design and Usability functions and Localization teams. Susan has worked with global teams for many years, managing employees in the US, UK, India, China, Korea, Japan, and Singapore.

Susan has presented at several Society of Technical Communications (STC) conferences, and over the years her teams have won many awards in local and international STC competitions. She holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh, a Certificate in Technical Writing from San Jose State University, and a Certificate in Publications Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Akash Dubey, Section Manager - Information Development, Hewlett-Packard

Akash Dubey works as Section Manager with Hewlett-Packard. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of technical communication and has worked with multinationals such as Siemens, Hewlett-Packard, EMC Corporation, and Cisco Systems.
He has managed documentation projects for data center technologies, content management systems (CMS), and backup/recovery software. He strongly believes in developing leadership pipeline, nurturing talent, and fostering innovation. He has conducted several leadership workshops as part of the mentoring initiative for documentation project leads.
He has made several presentations on API Documentation and Content Management Systems at conferences and learning sessions. He has been invited to many national and international panel discussions on outsourcing and opportunities/challenges in emerging economies. He visits Christ University as a weekend guest faculty and was instrumental in starting a technical writing certificate course in partnership with Institution of Engineers (India).
