tcworld India 2013 Conference - The Grand Tech Challenge

As you know, Adobe® FrameMaker® is extremely good at what it does. It not only offers great authoring features but also provides scripting support for automation and customization. For example, the Adobe® FrameMaker® Developer Kit (FDK) enables you to write API clients or plug-ins using the C or C++ programming language. Using the FDK, an API client can perform interactive user tasks and more. It gives programmers direct access to all objects in a FrameMaker session or document. Quite a few companies have exploited such powerful scripting features of

Adobe FrameMaker to automate several repetitive tasks, such as:

  • Counting images in a book
  • Adding predefined markers for all headings
  • Indenting all tables and figures
  • And much more…

It’s not limited to some automation; these are examples only. Some FrameMaker developers have developed CMS connectors too!

tcworld India and Adobe (platinum sponsor of tcworld India 2013) are announcing a competition to recognize and encourage this spirit of creativity and innovation. So, for all you “technical” writers, we are giving an opportuntiy to win top-notch Bose speakers and headphones. Apart from the big prizes, we are giving away complimentary registrations to attend the tcworld India 2013 conference, which is India’s ONLY international conference for technical communicators and translators.

It can’t get bigger and better than this!

Here’s how you can participate in the “The Grand Tech Challenge”:
