How do I submit a conference contribution and rework it?

  1. After reading these instructions, open the conference tool. The link to the tool is found at the end of the instructions.
    The conference tool opens in a new window.
  2. Log in to the portal with your username and password. If you do not possess a username/password, you must create a new account.
  3. If you do not see the contribution section, first click on “Speaker,” then on “My Submissions” in the conference tool.
    The table “My Contributions” is displayed.
  4. Click the button “New Submission” in order to create a new contribution.
    A new contribution appears in the table “My Contributions”.
  5. Complete the entry screen located beneath the table.
  6. Where necessary, add an additional speaker by clicking on the check box.
  7. Click “Submit” in order to submit your contribution tekom or click “Save” in order to be able to retrieve it for editing at a future point
    WARNING: It is no longer possible to edit a contribution after it has been submitted to tekom.
    The title and the presenter name(s) of your contribution are added in the table “My Contributions”.
  8. In order to edit a saved entry, select the contribution in the table and make the necessary changes in the entry screen. Click “Submit” or “Save”.

Important: Always save your changes by clicking the “Save” button.
